SINCH TO RELEASE LIVE DIGI-EP DECEMBER 6
On Tuesday, December 6, 2005, Sinch will release Live Cuts - 2005, a digital-only EP on Rock Ridge Music. This Philadelphia-based rock group.s EP is the next in Rock Ridge.s fall series of special, digital-only releases. This digital-only EP will be available everywhere digital tracks are sold worldwide, including outlets such as Napster, iTunes, MusicMatch, and Real.com. The EP is one of nine Rock Ridge titles to be carried by international DSPs, part of the label's recent worldwide digital distribution agreement with ADA.
The three songs featured on the Live Cuts 2005 EP are The Power of Suggestion, Identity Theft, and The Last Scene. These are tracks that were featured on the band's most recent CD, Clearing The Channel (Rock Ridge Music). The band said, We're really excited about releasing live versions of our songs online because it gives people who have never seen us in concert a taste of what this band is all about."
Sinch will release another digi-only EP in early 2006 featuring reinterpretations of songs from the album.
Sinch is also introducing two new ringtones in January 2006 Hydroplane from Clearing The Channel and Identity Theft (Live) from Live Cuts 2005.
Sinch can also be heard on Rock Ridge Music.s newly-launched online radio station, www.rockridgeradio.com.
Anchored in the Philadelphia suburbs, Sinch's popularity continues to grow. By taking chances mixed with equal doses of innovation, the Sinch boys have since been dubbed the .brothers of invention. by Philadelphia Weekly and continue to evolve their already intriguing live show with each and every performance. With Clearing The Channel, the five members of Sinch, Jamie Stem - vocals/acoustic guitar, Tony Lannutti - guitar/sound design, Mike Abramson . bass/Wurlitzer, Dan McFarland - drums/percussion, and Jay Smith - ocular noise machine, created a shining example of modern hard rock replete with haunting melodies, lashing riffs, and slicing lyrics.
