Biography
Influenced by classic rock legends like Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and Rush, as well as modern artists ranging from the Foo Fighters to Thrice: Jeff, Joel, and Jim capture hard rock/power pop passion.
Since their inception, Burningdown has written and recorded over 30 songs, and performed regularly in top Hollywood venues on the world famous sunset strip such as the Whisky A Go Go, the Viper Room, The Roxy Theatre, as well as The El Rey Theatre drawing the attention of major labels, and landing them a performance set at the Whisky A Go Go's Exclusive red carpet 40th anniversary party.
Burningdown's song "Remember" is featured in Shut Eye Records March 2005 release "Buzzlighter #9" compilation, distributed to college radio stations across the entire U.S. The song "Move" is featured on Indy Hits CD Sampler #27, Released February 2005 (
Burningdown has released a 4 song EP recorded by producer Bryan Carlstrom (Alice In Chains, The Offspring, Filter, Stabbing Westward, Stavesacre) and co-producer Christopher Hall (Stabbing Westward, The Dreaming). The CD is available online at www.burningdown.com
