Biography
This is what we are all about...FINGERTIGHT is a dynamic hardcore contemporary band based mainly in the San Fracisco Bay Area. Making music inspired by a wide range of tastes and styles, ranging from Primus and James Brown to Led Zeppelin and Santana to 60's R&B and Funky Soul with some Thrash & Punk mixed in. There sound is original but, not so "out there" you can't enjoy it. With a full and still growing library of material the quartet put it upon themselves to share their sound with the public ear. From their first performance on 'Fingertight' has played show after show gaining a growing following of fans in the process. Fingertight, of which consists four young musicians, Jesse DelRio, Bass, age 21, Kirk Shelton, Drums, age 22, Sergio Renoso, Guitar, 18, and finally Scott Rose, Lead Vocals who is 22 years old, are a unique, and refreshing mix of contemporary styles. This Martinez Ca. based group incorporate the sounds of groups like Primus, Deftones, Tool, Incubus, Filter, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chile Peppers, and Sepultura to create an original new sound. Fingertight has already played numerous shows around the Bay Area from North to South with acts ranging from Tribal Disco Noise, and Papa Roach to Nuclear Rabbit, Headboard, and many other popular local acts. This talented quartet is looking to be a strong player in the California Music scene. They have organized events out of pocket, drawing up to 200 plus fans. They have also recorded a 12 track CD demo. The band currently in the process of getting songs together for yet another CD and are planning for a tour of the United Kingdom and parts of Europe, again all out of their own pockets. Fingertight has had nothing but positive and encouraging feedback from its audiences and is confident you wont be dissatisfied.
